Chiwaula Islamic Centre in Mangochi was established during Sheikh Twaibu Hussein Mwarabu's chairmanship using Saudi Arabian funding. It combines a masjid, Quranic school, and community resource centre.
The centre provides Islamic education to hundreds of children and adults in Mangochi district and serves as a hub for MAM's activities in the Eastern Shore area.
